Randy Travis has recorded the perfect country album…again for 2008. This is the first genuinely Country album since 1999 from superstar Randy Travis. For the man who led the New Country Traditionalist movement, his album, Around The Bend, is the continuation of an enormously popular career. North Carolina-born Randy Travis changed the face of Country music and he helped reconnect the genre with its authentic roots. It all started with Storms Of Life, the four time Grammy winner’s 1986 #1 debut LP and Country’s first ever multiplatinum album.

Around the Bend is an album released in 2008 by American country music artist Randy Travis. The album is Travis’ first mainstream country music album since 1999’s A Man Ain’t Made of Stone, all his other albums in the 2000s were composed of Christian country music.[12] It sold 31,000 copies in its first week of release, the best opening week of Travis’ career.[13] Three singles were released from the album: ”Faith in You”, ”Dig Two Graves” and ”Turn It Around”, none of which charted.

Around the Bend was nominated for best country album at the 51st Grammy Awards, and the track ”Dig Two Graves” was nominated as best country song.[14]
